Julia is the Child of Nao Yuuki in the Mai-HiME series.

Specifications

In appearance, Julia resembles a giant spider with a scorpion's tail and a female humanoid face. Julia has several combat abilities, such as being able to emit sticky webbing from her chest, striking with her tail and releasing a caustic substance from an opening in her chest.

Powers and Abilities

• Webbing: Like its spider attributes, Julia is capable of firing sticky webbing.
• Metal Claws: Nao's Element, twin metal claws with red nails. Thin red strings extend from them that can be used to ensnare enemies or cut through objects. In the manga, the nails have been shown to grow longer to fit the situation.

• Julia is most likely based on Atlach-Nacha, a goddess in the post-Lovecraftian Cthulhu mythos. Atlach-Nacha is the invention of the writer Clark Ashton Smith and was a large spider with a humanoid face, similar to Julia.
